International Week of Deaf People
Did you know that September 19 through 25 is the International Week of Deaf People? This year’s theme is Building Inclusive Communities for All!Â
During the 2022 celebration of Deaf people, we will collectively highlight and recognize the importance of inclusive communities that allow everyone to flourish and have a sense of belonging. To help in celebration, we will be sharing the daily themes outlined by the World Federation of the Deaf – be sure to join us on Facebook and Instagram!Â
To further our efforts in celebrating inclusive communities for all, for the entire month of September we will be donating 10% of profits to Colorado Hands & Voices – a parent-driven organization that supports families with children who are Deaf or hard of hearing, without bias around communication modes or methodology. Here in Colorado, Hands & Voices is near and dear to us here at ADCO and if you would like to join us in supporting this amazing organization you may offer an additional donation on this page. 100% of all donations collected here will be given to Colorado Hands & Voices at the end of the month.Â
